Frog and Toadstool

A quick entry for the contest at:

The challenge was to draw a Mario brother in one of your favorite suits. I chose the frog suit because it was my favorite as a little girl. (And frogs/toads are my favorite animals, so...)

But, I couldn't just draw something normal. So, I used the character designs from the old Mario cartoon shows. Hehe. Back in the age when Princess Peach was Princess Toadstool and she had red hair instead of blonde. :3 (And they weren't wrong when they made her hair that color in the show. Those of us who are old will remember that back in those days, even in the games she had red-brown hair.)

I really don't mind the show, either. When I was a little kid, there was nothing more I wanted out of a Mario cartoon. XP

Does anyone else think a new Mario cartoon would be great if it were done by Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust? Holy monkies I'd watch that in an instant!
